Hello, additional clarification regarding pending maintenance activity Maint-002319: To support CALEA mandates, Vitelity engineering have now decided to add a BTN (Billing Telephone Number) in the P-charge info header instead of in the PAI field. This addition will be removed at the edge of the Vitelity network before call setup messaging goes out to the downstream carrier. Customers should not need to take any additional action.

Hello, further clarification regarding pending maintenance activity Maint-002319: In order for CALEA call tracing captures to work with all Vitelity calls, a source number needs to be associated with each call. This applies to all calls, not just apply to calls to 911 services. On June 22, Vitelity will start enabling code that will assign a BTN (Billing Telephone Number) and privacy ID on the call by attaching this in a PAI field if necessary. When PAI field with BTN WON'T be added to call setup messaging: 1) If customer uses a source that is a valid US LERG data point. 2) If you are using a Toll Free Number that is associated with your Vitelity account.
